I just caught something weird poking around my server logs this morning, real shifty stuff. Looks like somebody’s running scripts or trying to brute force their way in. Man, don’t folks have anything better to do. Why does it always happen when I’m finally getting my coffee ready. If you’re out there reading this, at least buy me lunch first before making a mess. Security alerts pinged like crazy but I guess it’s part of the life now. Could totally have done without the 72 login attempts though. Blocking them for now and maybe gonna report to upstream provider. Funny thing is, their user agent string says they’re using Internet Explorer 6, get with the times dude.
