Holy smokes I just spotted a series of failed login tries that smells fishy as heck. My dashboard was blinking red like a neon sign in a bad horror flick. Whoever is behind this clearly hates passwords more than my cat hates bath time. Ive never seen so many resets in a single hour it was like a frantic password party gone wrong. I swear these attempts came from some amateur hacker or a bored teenager with too much time. Its enough to make a grown sysadmin question their life choices. Next time bring popcorn because this circus deserves an audience. On a side note the firewall sure got a workout this afternoon. Im sending a rigid stern email to the boss and maybe some coffee for myself to calm these nerves.

Hello, i got an email from "gusanito.com" and the link was http://46.166.139.167/consulta.php.postal=E7994FEGB4D5600036DF1RG1444FDRT/index.htm to retrieve the postal, and then it says "download Adobe Flash Player", then it wants to install a 140 KB Exe file from 46.166.139.167. Is it ok? or maybe a pishing & spamming action?

What they do is hack your Pc through lack of security on your machine then access your email account, then they copy your contact list before erasing it then they send distress emails to your contacts demanding they send money to a Western Union where they can collect it from, they even emailed me a copy of my friends passport as proof! They are becoming more sophisticated scammers. I had forgotten to mention they are running the scam through a Company VPN which they subscribe to for the service; this company will have a record in a log file of where the mails had originated from in Nigeria, if you supply them with a date and time they should be obliged to supply you with the information you need to track them back.
