I woke up today to find a text string in my browser window in a google search that started with this ip address and pointing to port 21. I found the first part of the address by searching the net for the rest of the string and it appears to be code used in an attempt to hack a system.

doing tracert found this as forth hop connection state shows good, transfer speed is significantly slower(around 10% of normal speed throughput at best). why google would be routed through Netherlands while in United States is suspicious. suspect redirect.

Tries hacking into U.S. business networks on the weekends durring off business hours. Will use remote to try and hack in using admin login and multiple passwords. Passwords seem to be generated automatically due to the minimal times between login attempts, usually less than a second appart.

Netgear wnr2000 reported at least two DoS attacks from this IP, port 10000. Whenever this hits, it freezes my entire machine (HP mini 110-3135DX) for anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes; in a few cases, forcing a hard, "dirty" shutdown and reboot. Running Win7 Starter. I suppose it could be a spoofed IP address, but that's what my router log said. Site appears to be on Turner Rd. just East of Pepper Ridge Rd. There's a driveway there, but no building is apparent (heavy shadow).
