Same here ... email address was petercoulter@gmail.com. Received the response after answering a Craigslist ad for a housekeeper in Ithaca, NY. I do not know what the ploy is, but it is a shame to prey on hardworking people trying to make an honest living! "Thanks for your respond, I'm Peter Coulter & my wife's name is Janet Coulter, she's 7 months and two weeks pregnant and this is our first baby.. We are relocating to the States from the Canada. I will be coming there to work on contract basis with United States Environmental Protection Agency on a private research work. So i need someone who could help me take care of house by doing some house work while am off to work.Someone that will also help in running some errands. I will be offering you $400 Weekly, I will be needing your services for three hours at any suitable time of yours, Bi-weekly, on weekends, either Saturdays or Sundays. I believe you are fit for this position in as much you will prove yourself to be a reliable and good person. We have a financier that is based in the states and he will be handling the payment and some other expenses. So he will be the one that will be taking care of your payment. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN/WOMEN any of your money or time. "Bill Harding" was what the person named the guy I was supposedly talking to. I received a text message (Yes, the person texted my phone.) not even as "Bill Harding", but as "Deana Brown"? The person claimed They got my information on Care.com and her friend was moving to my area and needed help watching a dog and the person gave me an email which was bill.harding17@gmail.com so I emailed him and he told me he was moving from London to my area and he needed someone to watch his dog while he was at work as a "private researcher". He told me he would give me $300 weekly for only 9 hours a week 3 days a week. I found that odd, but he seemed very legitimate and I figured maybe he just has a lot of money? He asked for general information like my name, gender, address, phone number, and area code. I studiedly gave it to him at the time because I was so excited thinking this was a real opportunity for me. I decided to research his email a little later just to be sure they weren't m scamming me and then I came across their IP address which was filled with other complaints about whoever this person it. I'm so glad I came across this website though and just wanted to share my story as well because this person is messed up.
