Thank you Lisa for this information. I just inquired about a CRV that is for sale on kijiji as of Feb 2, 2013 good price and I was very excited about it. However, the email I got back from the seller had me questioning whether this was a legit deal. I have googled the sellers email address and it is angelahopper22@gmail. Obviously she has not been blocked from kijiji. So glad that I googled her address, just my gut instinct.

Hi yes, this e-mail address tries to sell you a vehicle using various websites such as kijiji. I reported her to kijiji and they blocked the e-mail address. Here is the story she was telling me. A bit far fetched... expecially saying that the vehicle was in an other country. Happy reading:
Hi, thank you for your email concerning my vehicle 2010 Honda Accord EXL, 6 - Cyl.,Trans. Automatic, in Blue color, 5700 km. It has a clear title and it is in perfect working condition, non smoker, no accidents, no liens or loans, it was very well maintained. The vehicle is certified, e-tested and safetied, runs like new and all services are up to date. My final price on it is CAD $14,400.00
I just got divorced and I decided to move (along with my daughter) closer to my parents. Right now I'm located in Valencia, Spain and the vehicle is stored in South Carolina.. The vehicle was awarded to me in our divorce. Being a single mother I decided to sell it. I am not in a position that allows me to travel and because i wish to sell it as fast and easy as possible i decided that the best way to let it go was online. I am not interested in taking a trade in with me to the dealership because I knew that would be a hassle. Don't get me wrong but I would prefer to secure the deal through eBay.I believe this protects both buyer and seller and it's the right way to do this. Also because the car will be shipped from US to Canada I prefer to work with a third party in order to keep the both of us safe in this deal. I will be assured you will buy the vehicle and you will be assured that you will receive it! Basically the money will be sent to them and they will keep it until you will receive the vehicle and only after you will inspect and drive it they will forward the funds to me.
