Bluetooth is one of the least secure connection available on a phone to date. It's been said that a lot of celebrities had their private photographs stolen using this type of technology. This is why it's important to keep bluetooth off at all times.

The video above explains the potential dangers of using bluetooth, but insists that the person needs to be close to you. This is true but only if they are not using signal amplifying devices which allow scammers to keep a greater distance. This is already used to amplify Wi-Fi signals for example.
