Last night the server logs lit up like a christmas tree when that weird traffic started coming in. It’s almost like somebody got lost looking for free wifi and decided to crash here instead. Dunno if it’s a bot or just some script kiddie out for a joyride, but honestly it’s not even subtle. Security alerts going brrrr nonstop so I’m just staring at my terminal with popcorn now. Never seen this much noise from one place in ages, almost impressive in a dumb way. Would be nice if people just used their skills for something less annoying, ya know? I patched and blocked but just in case anyone else spots the same thing, heads up. Guess it’s that time of year again for internet weirdos to show up.
