This is obviously another one of the bots hosted by Hetzner Online, which - masquerade as Opera/9.20 - read robots.txt - then go to the forbidden folders and read them nonetheless I'm sick of it.

What should I do without all those busy servers hosted by Hetzner Online? My log-files would dwindle into almost nothing, I guess. They are forever downloading every bit of html on my website -- far, far oftener than I'm updating. I should like to know, really, what do they need this for? Is it just to harass people? This one, though clearly a bot, (again) masquerades as "Opera/9.00", and is reading out folders that are forbidden for all robots. However, when entering the website, first thing they accessed was "robots.txt" -- and, as usual, not as "Opera", but as "libwww-perl/5.837".

Again, I'm amazed that I should be the first to complain. This is the n-th time that I've watched these rascals sucking down every bit of html on my website, identifying themselves as a normal browser ("Opera 9.20", in fact). "Robots.txt"? No problem, they read it (and, curiously, at that moment, there was no mention of "Opera" -- it was "libwww-perl/5.837", then): but guess how much they care about it? This thing has "bad bot" written all over it, and in capitals. I wonder whether and when Hetzner Online will finally stop them -- they are said to listen to complaints...?
