well this is weird i just saw something super fishy popping up in my apache logs today. first time i see so many failed login attemps like that so close together what are they even trying to do lol. gotta say it looks almost like a brute force attack or maybe just some script kiddie who doesnt know what newlines are. reminds me of that time when i set up a honeypot for fun and it got swarmed in five minutes by bots. thinking about blocking this sucker on the firewall before it gets more creative. checked shodan out of curiosity and surprise surprise this ip pops up a few times. anyone elses seeing spikes from this today or maybe it just targets random vps’es. gonna tighten up ssh again just in case no way im getting pwned this week.
