Think this is some kind of Dodgy bot keeps requesting robots.txt and attempting to access pages you have to be logged in to use (gets a 302 response). Either a hacking attempt or could be some weirdly configured proxy or some other form of security software.
I was surprised to see a request for robots.txt followed by requests for several password-protected pages. A status 401 was returned. These pages are not publicly listed or linked to on any existing page so the URL may have been obtained by some unsanctioned means.
Keeps fishing on my pages not sure what it's looking for but spends more time on it than me!
Attempted access to protected pages 15 times in 10 days. Appears to be random pages and times with no particular preference to page titles. The site is non-public and Robots.txt is set to none.
Keeps "looking" at my pages and when i looked for the Domain on google analytics it says police.uk What?????? Also indicates that the person made a search on google with my name followed by "Contact details" Very very strange!!!!
I have a week old website, and it tried to access hidden pages listed as no follow on robots.txt IPlocation says it's in the UK
I have come across this ip also not sure about it but i will keep a check of it. 80.40.134.120

DNSBL* - is a list of IP addresses published through the Internet Domain Name Service (DNS) either as a zone file that can be used by DNS server software, or as a live DNS zone that can be queried in real-time. DNSBLs are most often used to publish the addresses of computers or networks linked to spamming; most mail server software can be configured to reject or flag messages which have been sent from a site listed on one or more such lists.
WHOIS** - is a query/response protocol that is widely used for querying databases in order to determine the registrant or assignee of Internet resources, such as a domain name, an IP address block, or an autonomous system number. WHOIS lookups were traditionally performed with a command line interface application, and network administrators predominantly still use this method, but many simplified web-based tools exist. WHOIS services are typically communicated using the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP). Servers listen to requests on the well-known port number 43.
** Approximate Geographic Location - This is NOT the exact geographical location of the person/organization with the given IP address. However, this should still give you a good idea about the area/region where this person/orgranization is located.
