I get the same thing: your IP "69.49.30.200" then they want me to scan....NO WAY. Its a Hi-Jack that takes over your Firewall and Virus Protection...DO NOT CLICK TO SCAN ...JUST DELETE IT
Spam emails claiming that my IP (which is not 69.49.30.200, of course) is being used to send spam and that my "Broadband internet account" (*snort*) will be blocked. A URL given to "scan", but I will not click, as I am not an idiot.
I received the same thing but it was in my spam folder. There is a clickable link, but I am not stupid enough to click it. I saw it in the spam mail and I looked up the number, I knew it was fake trying to take over my computer. With an I.P Address I know wasn't mine.
I got the same thing and told them to go to ****. I also got spam from the fbi (?) stating the fbi has a warrant for my arrest. I said go ahead....arrest me.
This is an attempt to scam people. Of course I would never click the link, but some folks may not know better and have their computer trashed by these idiots. I would like to know to whom I can complain to have them put out of business. Life is hard enough without putting up with things like this.
Same problem, however am in Australia and this is a scam we always get warned by police about here.
Happened to me twice in as many days. Today being the latest. I just delete and that is that. Wish there was somewhere to report it!

The first time I simply did a reply asking for their company name. No response. Got the second one today. Did a Yahoo search for the IP in question. It\'s supposedly in California.
