The above IP is attacking my web server by using false user agents. and it appears their ojective is to destroy and make my web side unaccessable
Saw IP 198.20.69.74 in the Apache logs trying to use Shellshock attack to ping 104.131.0.69.
198.20.69.74 has been at my server a few times so I htaccess blocked them and I\'m still seeing their attempts.
For those who do any kind of research into the organization involved here, shodan allows public use of scans based upon popular malware attacks. Essentially it is a way to test if a network is vulnerable to an attack without actually launching a real one. Please do some investigation before claiming they are "attacking" you.
