This IP address was used to send me an email from a scammer that I met through chemistry.com. His name was Mario Bartolomei and his email is mariobartolomei61@gmail.com. It was an email with phony links trying to get me to click on saying he couldn't believe what he saw in my pictures on chemistry. Of course, I didn't click on them. He had said his email was hacked but I still don't believe him. Later supposedly he went to Africa and lost his credit cards and wallet and wanted me to send him money. Of course, baby! Never heard from him again. No money, no love!

Their back at it again!!! This time pretending to be a beautiful Russian Woman who sold all of her stuff to move to America and is $450.00 short of buying a plane ticket here. Doing the research tickets were just over $400. the dates mentioned for 1 way flights and the person stated they already had $250. The thing that made me wonder about researching them was they kept using the terms we and us when they were talking about themselves and they kept using the monetary term Dollars rather than Rubles which is the currency in Russia. I decided to do some research on IP addresses to find out how to track them and when I checked up the IP location through their email it shows the person is in Wichita KS on the middle of a lake rather than Russia. I confronted them and called them out on on it. Now I am waiting for a reply. Careful of these Spammers. I just checked out other Spam mails after this which supposedly came from over seas and they were all located in the Good Old USA!!! Word to the wise if someone on Match.com or other sites emails you and asks you to email them stating their account just expired and can no longer email you IGNORE THEM!!! I did not do this and I fell for it, but fortunately I did not give them a cent!!!

DNSBL* - is a list of IP addresses published through the Internet Domain Name Service (DNS) either as a zone file that can be used by DNS server software, or as a live DNS zone that can be queried in real-time. DNSBLs are most often used to publish the addresses of computers or networks linked to spamming; most mail server software can be configured to reject or flag messages which have been sent from a site listed on one or more such lists.

WHOIS** - is a query/response protocol that is widely used for querying databases in order to determine the registrant or assignee of Internet resources, such as a domain name, an IP address block, or an autonomous system number. WHOIS lookups were traditionally performed with a command line interface application, and network administrators predominantly still use this method, but many simplified web-based tools exist. WHOIS services are typically communicated using the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP). Servers listen to requests on the well-known port number 43.

** Approximate Geographic Location - This is NOT the exact geographical location of the person/organization with the given IP address. However, this should still give you a good idea about the area/region where this person/orgranization is located.
