Also received an alert from McAfee "Risky Connection Blocked" from Google Chrome.
Also received an alert from McAfee saying "Risky Connection Blocked". Who is it from and is it legit?
Same here - McAfee said "Risky Connection Blocked". THIS MUST BE MALWARE OF SOME KIND, because I had Just Turned On My Computer, and Just Opened Firefox, and Just Told Firefox to Go To Netflix.com . This address, as shown above, resolves to "tribalfusion.com". I can find no evidence whatsoever on the internet to indicate that "tribalfusion" is a reputable company, or that it is in any way affiliated with Netflix.com . Therefore, it must be totally unrelated to netflix.com, and must be a virus installed on my computer, to make my computer connect to tribalfusion.com, for some sort of malware purposes. I ALSO NOTICED the last time I shut my computer down, that Although my Taskbar showed No Firefox Windows Open, there was STILL a firefox PROCESS running on my computer, and it was taking up a huge amount of Computer Processing Power, making me also think I have a virus or malware. I luckily have a "clean" version of my MS Windows XP installation for this computer, just for when this happens; I'm going to use Norton Ghost to "flash" my Software Drive (which I keep Separate from my Data Drive) back to an earlier, cleaner installed image of MS Windows, without this malware, and I don't expect that my PC will any longer be trying to connect to this address.
This morning McAfee sent me a "Risky Connection Blocked" alert from Firefox program. I'm in the UK.
I just received same message from Mcafee telling me they blocked the connection
I was on www.WhitePages.com when I received a notice that my McAfee anti-spyware software had blocked access to IP Address: 204.11.109.23 as it may be a "RISKY CONNECTION". The interesting part is that my McAfee software just undated itself less than an hour ago and it was performing a full system scan at the time of this notice. What's up with this?
Também recebeu um alerta do McAfee "Conexão Risky bloqueados" do Google Chrome.
Another computer in our office just got a virus, possibly Blaster Worm, and now my mcafee is giving me the same blocked risky connection notice with this IP. Coincidence? i don't know.
"McAfee has blocked your PC from making a potentially risky connection." Got this same message too, wonder what's going on as it seems a lot of people have this same issue?
McAfee waring given here as well. I've uset McAfee for years, and have not been troubled by this kind of warnings before. How come? (I'm aware of my net-habits, and I've not changeed them; as my kids uses my computers as well...)

DNSBL* - is a list of IP addresses published through the Internet Domain Name Service (DNS) either as a zone file that can be used by DNS server software, or as a live DNS zone that can be queried in real-time. DNSBLs are most often used to publish the addresses of computers or networks linked to spamming; most mail server software can be configured to reject or flag messages which have been sent from a site listed on one or more such lists.
WHOIS** - is a query/response protocol that is widely used for querying databases in order to determine the registrant or assignee of Internet resources, such as a domain name, an IP address block, or an autonomous system number. WHOIS lookups were traditionally performed with a command line interface application, and network administrators predominantly still use this method, but many simplified web-based tools exist. WHOIS services are typically communicated using the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP). Servers listen to requests on the well-known port number 43.
** Approximate Geographic Location - This is NOT the exact geographical location of the person/organization with the given IP address. However, this should still give you a good idea about the area/region where this person/orgranization is located.
