i just got an email from noreply@battle.com and i thought i would put a ticket in with blizzard and i asked them and thay said no they never do an eamil with "cn" in the link so if people get any of these email's from noreply@battle.com and it has "cn" delete them and dont click on the link as they are trying to get your information and hack your accoung
noreply@battle.com is a fake, look at the link that they pass to you "http://us.battle.net.acc.yn-login.com/login/en/login.html?app=wam&ref=https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/&eor=0&app=bam" blizzards battle net address is just "us.battle.net" not "us.battle.net.acc.yn-login.com"
who are dose people? i got all 3 of thouse mail addresses! what can i do?
My first tip off that it was sketchy was the typos. I don't think a big company like blizzard would have 3 typos in 3 lines.
I got an email off this address, i was uncertain as to if it was legit or not, however when i searched my email it would seem i've got alot of emails off: No-reply@blizzard.com No-reply@blizzard.net No-reply@battle.net HOWEVER noreply@battle.com seems to be a new one.. therefore i wont be trusting it any time soon. Make sure if you're getting emails off this, you're paying close attention..
battle.com is just a faked adress. The email sender's IP is (in my case) 116.213.164.79. apnic.net lists this IP in the adress range of a chinese network company. Bear in mind that the computer at this IP may be infected and part of a botnet, so the real sender of that mail may still be someone else.
This was used to try and get World of Warcraft account info by trying to appear to be official Blizzard e-mail
