I had the identical scam email. I have reported it to Gumtree and want a reply back from them as this scam has gone on for far too long.

I received the same scam from 'Shallombill006' this week. I've reported it to gumtree. I nearly fell for it but thankfully I checked at the last minute as it felt too good to be true. Steer clear.
Had a text about a gumtree sale I had going, they asked me to email them which I did, they advised they would pay by paypal and send a currier to collect the goods. I dod a little googling and found this over and over again where they send you a paypal payment and ask you to send them a moneygram payment for some reason then they reverse the paypal payment! and you ever hear from them again. I have had the same email this morning with exact same introduction. Ive been scammed once before too, luckily never sent any money... Wouldnt mind putting him in a frigging wheelchair!!
Yeah got the same copy/paste text this morning on Gumtree from this address. The guy wanted to buy via PayPal a pram i was selling. I don't even bother replying to this scumbag, what an eejit! Just always be careful lads!

Same scam as above received today. Sounded dodgy from the get-go. Golden Gumtree rule, always meet purchasers in person since the advarts are intended to exchange items in a local environment!!!!
Received text supposedly from gumtree wanting to buy van, Disabled deaf person offers full money but must go through PayPal without seeing it, giving me any details for paperwork for new owner, but a courier company will collect. A scam will claim money back from PayPal as a complaint. and a courier would not collect, as a courier myself. Know the system.
