Advertised my boat for sale on Kijji. He also offered me $800.00 more than the asking price . Didn't want me to advertise the boat anymore , he would send his "pick up agent " to look at the boat . SCAM .........
He sent me a text saying he wanted to buy my motorcycle immediately. According to his phone number he is from Philadelphia....I'm from Canada....why buy a bike all the way from Canada??
Same story as above... when asked where he was located, there was no response.
Same thing! He offered $800 more, and wanted to send a "pick-up agent" because he couldn't come himself, and have it shipped to "his parents in ontario"...pick up agent was my first clue...lol...
Also selling a bike on kijiji and received 2 texts at 6 am the day after posting. 1 from a michigan area code and another from a colorado area code, both with the same message. message said "Please let me know if your BIKE is still for sale. I will like to buy it immediatly. E.M.A.I.L: miketraore60 @ h o t m a i l . c o m." If anyone didn't see right through that or doesn't know how to google a name or Email address you deserve to be scammed. So i signed him up for a bunch of spam and passed info on to a friend who claims to be a hacker and can **** with his livelihood...Probably bullshit but worth a shot i figure.
Same scenario occurred this morning June 3/2016 on a bike I have or sale. Mike Traore indicates he'll pay $800 more bla bla bla. I said no and I'm going to give his information to the RCMP.
selling a motorcycle on Kijiji and this guy first tries to say he will send an extra $800.00 to hold the sale. Asked him where he is at. He want to deposit all the money on my paypal acount. English is poor at best. Don't open link! He tell me to send him $820.00 in a fake PayPal acount. Michael Traore email is: miketraore60@hotmail.com
Same as above - offered to pay $800 extra if I took the ad right off of kijiji.
Selling a motorcycle on Kijiji and this guy first tries to say he will send an extra $800.00 to hold the sale. Asked him where he is at. Response was how he would like to adjust my personal settings on my computer and needed I.P. address to make transfer of funds for purchase. Email contained a link that I am certain does not go to paypal. English is poor at best. Don't open link!
